Acupuncture seems to be working!  Hurt much less.

Rode again!  YAyayayayyayay!  I got to ride Case, and he was such a good boy by Case standards!  He trotted around corners when asked and did not eat the ponies.  So good to see him again- I gave him so many hugs.

When I was small, I used to divide my brain up into lots of little people who ran my personality.  Have a sampling of their thoughts on the Avengers cartoon deal.

HeadLou: Alright, people, settle down, what's with the angry?

LoudLou: HISTORICAL REVISIONISM

HeadLou: um.  Somebody wanna explain this?

HistoryLou: They're replacing the Nazis in WWII with HYDRA, who are not only fictional, but blatantly fictional.  A map shows them conquering Europe- starting from Russia, oddly enough, this may need to be looked into- in a blatant disregard for historical principles as well as a worrying whitewash.

SocialJusticeLou: This is war and genocide in which millions died and more suffered- some of whom are still alive today.  This suffering was not at the hands of fictional supervillains, and an attempt to erase it from history, unintentional as it may be, draws worrying parallels.  I call that we NOT watch this show!

CommonSenseLou: Um, I'm pretty sure we don't even get the channel.

ConservativeAndLiberalLous: We agree with each other about this!  Though possibly for different reasons.

HistoryLou: As I was saying, while this may not have been the decision of the showmakers per se, the idea of  replacing real people and real tragedies with supervillain mooks is repellent for a variety of reasons.  It appears to be the fault of those who censor and rate television, and who apparently do not grasp just WHAT it looks like they are erasing.

KidLou: Children can handle stuff like this!  The show's for middle schoolers, the're already learning about it anyway.

ConservativeLou: If I have to live in a world where Captain America can't punch a Nazi, I don't want to live there.

LiberalLou: As usual, you are an idiot and I firmly agree with you.

HistoryLou: Shut up, both of you.  Where's ModerateLou?  But back to the topic, furthermore-

I hope you have all learned something valuable.  Now outta my head.

Also, doing schoolwork, blah blah blah.  Some kids at school and I might have a LoTR marathon.  Tai brought us a portion of squirrel to share.

I am so relieved that you feel better. Did you already go to acupuncture this week? I thought it was on Thursdays. I am so glad you got to ride again too. And for the record, I won't be watching the Avengers cartoon.
