A few random thoughts:

Tomorrow I leave for Europe.  Very, very nervous-making, but I am looking forward to this trip.  I am.

Arizona: I understand that you are trying to beat out South Carolina as the Crazy State.  You aren't going to succeed.  You're merely starting to try to pass unconstitutional laws on citizenship.  SC started the Civil War.

Speaking of SC, last week a guy in the town my grandmother is from saw Bigfoot and claimed it had "beautiful fur."  Arizona: behind and falling.

My cousin in Florida is getting two horses.  I am happy for her.  I am not bitter and jealous.  Really.

Well, I am happy for her.

Speaking of cousins, continue to face the difficulty that me and more than a few of my relatives have really, really different political views, including some of the ones I feel strongly about.  This can be kind of difficult to deal with at times.

Speaking of relatives, my grandparents are taking care of the dog and taking her to their house while we're gone.  I expect to return and find a much heavier Boston Terrier than we left.

That's all for now, I think.

THE DOG has hiked up and down a mountain, cheerfully urging us onward. This from a creature that refuses to go around the block without being carried.

BOOSTER GOLD has met up with Zombeetle, and also there was a funeral scene that made me seriously want to punch Wonder Woman.

I have FOUND CONNECTIONS between my hobbies and those of my sister. "She made me watch Greek, yes. All the characters besides the villain actively annoyed me. It was kind of like X Men."

MY CAT has entered into a deep, hateful rivaly with Orange Neighbor Cat over who controls the prime hunting territory behind our house.

BONUS COUSIN has been given a name and soon will have a baby shower.

Behind the LJ cut (my fun new skill) are some pics of my cats.  Hurrah!

I love this blog.  And the owner is a SW fan, so yeah.  This means that a cake featuring Darth Vader and a small child gets on Sunday Sweets, while anything shaped like a deer head, no matter how well made, is in the normal weekly cake wrecks.

What does everyone else seem to find so scary about deer heads?

DISCLAIMER: Lou is hereby neither stating that she would like to hunt a deer nor in any way getting in the way of your right to do so if you so please just don't come on our land in God we trust with liberty and justice for all Green Lantern's light.

Because I cannot not link to that in anything entitled "Fun Links"

And that there is our dog, Gracie, who got to be this website's photo of the week a few years back.  In this photo she is shown being much more lively than usual.
