More In The Way of Memes

As always, shamelessly stolen from one of the twenty billion or so fic authors whose journals I stalk.
Take twenty pairings, (or characters, because I don't think I HAVE twenty pairings), and twenty Shuffled songs. Compare.
Beware Strange Tastes In Music Below.
1.Han/Leia. Evanaescence- Weight of the World. Well. This meme isn't starting off too well- not only is my guilty pleasure band immediately brought to light, I can really find nothing in the song relating to Han/Leia. *searches lyrics* Okay, when taken more out of context:
Don't cling to me, I swear I can't fix you
Still in the dark, can you fix me?
But only sort of.
2.Luke. Martina McBride, "Ride".
To shine while you have the chance to shine
Laugh even when you want to cry
Hold on tight to what you feel inside and ride
It brings you up slowly then shoots you like a rocket towards the ground
It twists you and it shakes you before it turns you upside down
You can't see what's around the corner...
I can actually kind of see this one. There's an inner optimism in Luke that keeps him going through the saga. And, hey, I've half written kid!Luke somewhat based on how my cousins grew up in the middle of nowhere, no reason he shouldn't like country music.
3. Batman/Catwoman. "It's Raining on Prom Night," from Grease.
Oh my darling what can I do?
I miss you.
It's raining rain from the skies,
and it's raining real tears from my eyes,
over you.
Because he's dead, and she's in perpetually overcast Gotham, and she does miss him. (I must admit, I was kind of happy this song came up, if only because I sang it in the middle school production.)
4. Anakin/Padme. Love Story. By Taylor Swift. Yes, that "Love Story."
We were both you, when I first saw you
I close my eyes, and the flashback starts...
Romeo take me, somewhere we can be alone
I'll be waiting, all you have to do is come...
And if I take the song from the more hopeless "true love's all just a story" perspective instead of the literal one... It actually really, scarily fits.
5. Tokka. Within Temptation featuring Keith Caputo: "What Have You Done."
Um, maybe:
I, I've been waiting for someone like you
But now you are slipping away
One of my favorite songs, actually, but not very Tokka.
6. Maiko. Fink: This is the Thing
And the things that keep us apart keep me alive and
The things that keep me alive keep me alone
I could see that part, at least, for Zuko back when he'd heel face turned and left Mai with a poorly written note. Poor melodramatic dear.
7.Just plain Zuko. Within Temptaition: "In Perfect Harmony". (Yeah, I'm really not seeing this one at all...)
Like, I can't even find somewhat matching lyrics like I could for any of the others. It's about a guy. But it's about a guy who grows up in the forest and is a friend to all living things at the cost of his humanity.
8.Vader/Padme. Tonry Bennet, "Winter Wonderland."
No.
9. Vader. Weird Al Yankovic, "Ebay."
Well, it produced HILARIOUS mental images. I'll give it that much.
10. Clark/Lois. Timbaland, "Apologize."
I'm holding on your rope, got me ten feet off the ground, does sound like something they probably got up to in the Silver Age, but over the One Happy Couple In Comics and this song don't quite fit together. Still, better than the above three.
11. Boostle. Within Temptation, "Destroyed." Great, just the title and I go all squincy faced.I
It's so easy to destroy and condemn
The ones you do not understand
A bit angsty and over the top for these two, perhaps, but does speak a bit to how Ted ended up dead and Booster ended up, well, current!Booster, with absolutely no one taking them seriously.
12.Aang. Kanye West, "Heartless".
IMMA LET U FINISH, BUT BUT SOKKA HAD THE BEST MEME OF ALL TIME-
Okay, yes, that joke is old. I don't care.
13. Katara. The Goo Goo Dolls, Iris.
And I don't want the world to see me
Cause I don't think that they'd understand
When everything's made to be broken
I just want you to know who I am
Angsty season three Katara.
(And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming...)
14. Guy/Ice. Bettye LaVette, "You Don't Know Me At All".Not much, really, mostly because I think half the point of this ship is that they do know each other, and that's why she sticks with him anyway despite the fact that he's, well, Guy Gardner.
15. The Superbuddies in general. "Star Trek, Main Theme."
Does this count? I'm not sure this one counts.
16. The Gaang in general. Evanescence again, "Tourniquet."
All I remember about this song is a howled "I WANT TO DIE" from Amy Lee and then I never really listened to it again. I'm not subjecting myself to my suicide squick for four minutes just for a meme.
17. Blue Beetle (Jaime). Old Crow Medicine Show, "Wagon Wheel."
Staring up the road and pray to God I see headlights
...
It's sort of lonely wandering song, at its core, imho, and that fits the early issues where he's still fairly lost confused and flashbacking pretty well.
18. Obi-Wan. Within Temptation, "Deceiver of Fools." Finally, a good one! And no, I'm not talking about the lies he tells Luke.
Our light in the darkness is too small to see
There's always a sparkle of hope if you just believe
...
Deceiver of hearts,
Deceiver of fools,
He rules, again...
...
Please awake, and see the truth,
He can only be if you believe what he tells you
Remember who you are, what you stand for
There will always be a way.
...I'm talking about what he tells Anakin.
19.Yoda. The 88, "GoGoGo". I got this one free from iTunes and have yet to interpret the lyrics. But the album cover has a butterfly, and I imagine there are some sort of poisonous man eating butterflies on Dagobah.
20. Dick Grayson. Taylor Swift, "Change."
"They might be bigger, but we're faster and never scared."
There's actually quite a bit more of the song that would be good, but I really really like that line right there.
