Guess Who's In Paris!

 Me, of course.

It is quite lovely here.  We've been on a bike tour that did NOT obey traffic rules, seen the Eiffel Tower, and, most importantly, I have eaten crepes au fromage.  It is fun being the only member of my family who speaks any French at all- sort of.  It can also be kind of annoying.  But I'm able to actually order food without pointing, translate things on signs- it's nice to be useful.

I'm also reading a series of urban fantasy novels involving vampires.  Please, someone hit me.  I'm scared for myself.

How incredible that you are in Europe! Your mom said you did a wonderful job translating in Paris. I got your retainer and will bring it to you in Scotland this weekend. (Don't get to say that very often!!) Love, M

Thank you SO much for getting the retainer. I realized very suddenly in Venice that I'd forgotten it.

How is Tai? You said to mom that he left me a mouse?

Tai is just fine. The man at your house (John??) is taking good care of all the animals. He seems very nice. Jody took care of the mouse so I didn't have to cope with it. Looking forward to seeing you in Scotland in just a few days!!!! Love, M
